• SoftBank-backed FreeCharge is reportedly in talks with Gurugram-based mobile wallet company MobiKwik for a potential merger, Merged entity to get $200 Mn from a Chinese investor
• Awfis raises $20M funding from Sequoia India to increase our seat capacity to over 25,000 in 12 months along with 80 centres
• Myra, a medicine delivery firm, has raised an undisclosed Series A funding co-led by Matrix Partners and Times Internet, with participation from a few angels


• Startup-focused research platform, Oddup, has raised $6 million (about Rs 40 crore) in a fresh round of funding led by the Times Group, 500 Startups and Click Ventures
• Customer data analytics startup Flytxt has secured $11 million (Rs 70 crore) in a Series-A funding round led by German investment firm DAH Beteiligungs
• Pharmeasy has closed a deal to raise Rs 20cr funds from venture debt firm Trifecta Capital

• Bus pooling app ZipGo raises Series A funding
• Qualys is launching a new localized product, especially for the Indian market. That had the RBI cyber security guidelines for banks and financial institutions built into it

• IAN eyes Rs 350 Cr corpus, raises Rs 175 Cr in first round
• Singapore’s Intellectual Property Office (IPOS) and private equity firm Makara Capital Partners are setting up the Makara Innovation Fund. It is a S$1 billion (US$718 million) investment vehicle for companies with “globally competitive technologies.
• Samena Capital targets $700 mn for third private equity fund
