Rules and Regulations
Players Rules:
- 1 Team will have 2 Players
Game Rules:
- Standard 8 Ball pool rules apply.
- The umpire’s decision will be final.
- Break will be decided via coin toss.
- Any argument will result in disqualification.
- Foul will be considered in below cases:
- If you pot the cue ball.
- If you fail to hit your ball directly or if you hit the opponent’s ball directly.
- If you hit the 8 ball directly before potting all your balls.
- If your body or clothes touch any ball on the table.
- In the above 4 cases, the opponent will have the cue ball in hand and can place it anywhere on the table and play the shot.
- Potting the 8 ball without clearing all your set balls (Stripes/Solids) will result in the victory of the opponent.
- Calling the pocket before you pot the 8 ball is mandatory.
- Failing to pot the 8 ball in the called pocket and potting in a different pocket results in opponents’ victory.
- Jump shots are legal as long as the ball does not go off the table.
- During the break, if a person clears all his 7 balls, the team wins without even putting the 8 ball and will be considered a clean sweep.
- Potting the 8 ball during the break is also considered as victory to the person who breaks the rack.
- 8 ball can only be potted in the corner pockets and not the center pockets at any considered time of the game.
- If the cue ball jumps off the table, it must be kept behind the line and play the shot forwards and not backwards.
Not allowed:
- Pushing the ball instead of hitting the ball.
- Distracting the opponent.
